ANAGRAMS IN ENGLISH
Tom Marvolo Riddle - I am Lord Voldemort
Harry Potter fans, remember?
An anagram is a word or phrase made by using the letters of another word or phrase in a different order.
The prepositional phrase, "in a different order", in the preceding definition is important for us to remember.
For example, the word, "race", consists of four letters (R-A-C-E). If you put these letters in a different order, you will have "care" (C-A-R-E).
In the same way, we can have "a net" from "neat"; "listen" can become "silent"; "funeral" can become "real fun".
