Analogous
The word, 'analogous', is an adjective.
If something is analogous to something else, the things in question have similar features and, therefore, are comparable.
For example,
a. The contribution of the doctors to the human society during the pandemic is analogous to a lifeboat.
b. The relationship between a leader and his followers is analogous to that of father and children.
c. This restaurant wasn't really what we had expected it to be, but it wasn't exactly analogous to our canteen.
d. The experience of listening to some people is in a sense analogous to meditation.
e. Watching a movie on Amazon Prime is analogous to renting it without travelling to a store.
