DISCUSSION

The political system is the way a country is governed and how decisions are made. Sometimes, this system has problems and weaknesses that prevent it from working well. When these problems exist, they can cause society to move backward instead of progressing.

For example, if the political system is affected by corruption, cronyism, and nepotism, it creates an environment where things stay the same and don't improve. This hampers progress and makes it difficult for society to move forward. It also means that only people who have connections or are favoured by those in power can succeed, while others with merit or innovative ideas are ignored. There are a lot of rules that make it hard for new ideas to be implemented.

As power becomes concentrateda situation where a few entities or individuals possess a substantial amount of control or influence over others or over a particular domain in the hands of a small group of privileged people, the voices of those who are not in power or are marginalised are ignored. This makes the differences between rich and poor even bigger and continues a cycle where society stays underdeveloped.

So, when there are problems within the political system, it can cause a society to move in the wrong direction instead of moving forward. This makes it difficult for the society to become prosperous and enlightened because the flaws in the system prevent positive changes from happening.
